This is the announcement that all enthusiasts have been waiting for. From 16 to 18 April 2027, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles will host the first edition of the Salon des Sports de Raquettes (SSR). A first-of-its-kind event in France, it promises to transform the venue into a veritable temple of sport and innovation.
Whether you’re a tennis fanatic, a badminton smash specialist or a newcomer to padel, the SSR is for you. For the first time, the entire racket sports ecosystem will come together in one place for three days of total immersion.
A giant playground right in the heart of Paris
Organised by Playground, this exhibition is not just about displaying equipment: it’s an experience. With several courts set up at the heart of the venue, visitors will be able to try out the latest rackets, discover new and emerging sports such as pickleball, and take part in taster sessions led by experts.
Three areas for a complete experience
The event is structured around three key pillars:
- The exhibition area: Nearly 100 exhibitors (iconic brands, equipment manufacturers, sports federations and Sport-Tech start-ups) will showcase their innovations in equipment, apparel and digital solutions.
- The playing area: The beating heart of the event, featuring demonstrations by top-level athletes, competitions and test areas where equipment can be compared under real-world conditions.
- The conference area: A space for analysing trends (sport and health, data, future infrastructure) for professionals and curious enthusiasts alike.
An event for everyone
Friday 16 April will be dedicated to industry professionals and the media, promoting networking and business opportunities within a rapidly growing sector. From Friday evening and throughout the weekend, the exhibition will open its doors to the general public for a festive celebration of sport.
With surprises featuring champions, meet-and-greets with content creators and exclusive pre-season shopping, the Racket Sports Fair is already shaping up to be the unmissable event of spring 2027.
